In 2017, Flock Safety began as a side project in an Atlanta garage. Today it’s a multi-billion dollar company running more than 120,000(new window) automated license plate reader (ALPR) cameras across 49 US states, reading 20 billion plates a month for more than 5,000 law enforcement agencies.
