HackerTube (hackertube.org) is a YouTube-style site built from videos that Hacker News commenters recommended between 2007 and 2026. The creator, frustrated by YouTube's exaggerated thumbnails and repetitive recommendations, had an AI model mine HN comments, filter out spam, and surface roughly 6,454 recommended videos across 150 topics, then wrapped them in a YouTube-like interface.
