This AI Can Automatically Decipher Lost Ancient Languages

Researchers at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) have found a way to use machine learning to help us decode dead, "undeciphered" languages – which means we would finally be able to understand the grammar, vocabulary, and syntax underlying the written versions of these languages.
